Good Morning: If you want to experience more success in achieving the things you desire in life, identifying negative habits that may imped your progress and replacing them with positive habits is the solution. Here are 5 simple steps to getting rid of negative habits: 1. Identify your negative or bad habits. Write them down. a. Be specific b. Consider the long-term effects of continuing the bad habits C. Consider every area of your life where negative habits have developed. Also consider the negative habits that you formed in matters related to your physical, emotional, financial and spiritual health. 2. Define new positive habits that you want to replace the negative habits With. Visualize the impact the new positive habit will have as a result of replacing the negative habit. 3. Create an action plan to begin to install or incorporate the new positive habits into your daily life. You must take some time and really thing about this. Just coming up with some action steps that sound and look good on paper will not change you. The action steps must be steps that you know in your heart you will to do to change your negative habits.
4. Schedule these action steps into your day or put them into your time line. Example: If you know you want to work out at the gym 3 time a week, schedule it now into your day timer or on your electronic calendar. Whatever the new habit is that you want to install into your life, you must work it into your schedule. The key is doing the new positive habits repetitively so that they become apart of your nature. 5 Take immediate action! Don't wait, second guess, or delay. If you are going to have the new positive habits take form, you must take action now. Start with one habit that you really want to change. Focus on your three immediate steps for installing the new habit and put them into action. Do it now. Remember, the change you want in your life will come when you change.
