Follow the Leader VS Empowering Your Community

Why do we continue to support leadership, be it local, religious, state or federal that has by and large shown no results.  Do they hear you?  Do they understand you?  Do they have your best interest at heart?  I know some of them look like you, vote like you, but you’ll find few of them live near you.  We can’t blame them for doing what they do.  Why don’t we call them out?  Why do we sit around, do sit ins, sit back, but never sit in control?  It’s time for people to wake up and assume responsibility and dedicate themselves to taking back their neighborhoods not only from crime, but also from self-appointed leaders who’ve shown no fruit.  When you walking in a circle it’s hard to tell the from the last one in line.
