When Finley was 3 her mom divorced her dad who was a member of organized crime. When she turned 4, her mother remarried an alcoholic who was physically/mentally abusive so she didn't foresee having a future. At 15 Deborah was visiting with her biological father when a man walked in the room & murdered him w/a shotgun as she sat beside him. She was untouched. It's not natural, said Finley It's supernatural. Her mother blamed Deborah for the murder, when she could have telephoned to warn them, but didn't for fear of her own life. Due to the trauma Deborah was unable to speak for days & doctors said she may never speak again. But she had a godly grandma-due to her prayers she was able to speak again. She dedicated a whole chapter to her, "Power in a grandma's prayers". The word (bible) brought healing to my body, mind, & spirit. It's not natural, but we have a supernatural God that despite our circumstances can help us rise above them to walk in a higher realm of life.
