In the last few years, Lance has successfully 1st Assistant Directed, to completion, eight Features/M.O.W.s. He has been a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the Directors Guild of America (DGA) for five years. In addition, he was recently upgraded to Unit Production Manager (UPM) within the Guild. With his calm and straight forward approach, Lance has earned the reputation as “the guy who can come in and save film productions.” Lance started Fearless Productions ten years ago, while attending Claremont McKenna College (where he continues to speak and mentor students). While still in the educational system, Lance went on to receive the 'Best Directing' acknowledgement from his professor & peers at the summer New Film Academy Program at UCLA. After majoring in both Film Studies and Psychology (an element he finds key for any producer), Lance jumped at every position and challenge offered him. In the last eight years, Lance has been an Assistant Director on nearly 50 productions. However, Lance’s real passion is still within the independent film world, where he believes projects and scripts can stay honest and pure. He's produced numerous indie short films including the 2006 Comic-Con International Film Festival winner, THE VINYL BATTLE, and also line-produced the recently released feature, REDRUM. Last year, Lance worked on DR. HORRIBLE'S SING ALONG-BLOG as the 2nd Asst Director & had a cameo as "Hawaiian Shirt Guy". Most recently, he has finished up season 2 of ABC's "Eli Stone", and is currently working on several other projects. Lance joined JAKE’S CLOSET as a rare opportunity to help produce a movie that he felt truly deserved to be made. Please join us as we discuss his career, his challenges, and what drives him.

"Abuse" as a possible BTR show topic

I'm sure this topic has been covered many times, but I'm considering doing a show about recovering from and surviving the stigma of abuse.  This topic is close to my heart, but recently, a few of my on & offline friends have discussed this subject with me.  In one case, abuse has recently occurred.  In another, something has happened that has caused the emotions from previous abuse to re-surface.

Would any of you would be interested in this topic on my show and would you be willing to call in and talk about it?  Would you be more comfortable using the live chat?

I am just a regular person that has survived my own issues.  But if this show could be beneficial to any of you, I would like to do it.  Please comment or send me a message and let me know what you think.

    Thank you,
    Anita
