Why do we keep trying to reinvent the wheel? Why do we endlessly pursue happiness but never catch it? Why do we think we have to choose between success and integrity?
The wisdom of the ages lies open before us, yet we keep looking for modern-day prophets to tell us what the ancients have already revealed. However, if we learn to apply the teachings of King Solomon and the sages that followed in his footsteps, we can find insights that will dazzle us with their contemporary brilliance and guide us along the path of personal and professional prosperity. Success in any endeavor is a mindset that develops organically once we recognize that good ethics is good business.
Our guest this month is Rabbi Yonason Goldson has hitchhiked across the United States, circumnavigated the globe, seen the Taj Mahal, the pyramids of Giza, and the tea plantations of Sri Lanka. He’s hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and to the tops of the Sierra Nevada. He’s jumped out of an airplane and undergone open-heart surgery (but not at the same time).
He’s studied at the University of Edinburgh, taught school in Budapest, Hungary, and seen Richard III performed in Ashland, Oregon, and Stratford-on-Avon. He earned a degree in English Literature from the University of California, taught high school for 23 years, published four books, raised four children, and been married to the love of his life for 30 years.
