Thursday we are discussing an issue which has erupted to become one of the most contraversial medical specialties, Chronic Pain Management & Treatment. The issue of medications vs treatments and the new laws being updated and enforced across the country. This has been a personal journey for me during this past decade. I suffer with Spinal Cord Trauma, leaving Syringomyelia Cystic Sac attached to the inside of my cord. These sacs grow and expand as tension, barometric pressure, or activity increases or changes the flow of my nervous system fluid. It is difficult because only some 10,000 have been diagnosised across the country, so most doctors, including Neurologist & Neurosurgeons often say; 'This shouldn't cause you any problems.' How do you find the right doctor, the right treatment, create a support system, prevent isolation, depression, thoughts of suicide?
