Let's talk about 'Love' through the eyes of an abuse/violence or trafficking survivor. Call in to join the conversation at 347-215-7754 or connect in our chatroom.
It's all about survivors, it's all about you!!
Survivors; what does LOVE really mean in your eyes? Can you connect with the word and feel the emotions of its meaning?
It is St. Valentine's Day, a day of LOVE recognized throughout many countries. Tonight, I would like to invite survivors & their partners/spouses to join in with their thoughts about 'LOVE'.
We all have our own perceptions of what love is and the responsibilities held in that word which have been taught to us for centuries. When we are small we have this imagination of love; girls have a prince charming, a hero to rescue them; while boys are taught to see & feel love through sexual activity. Also, not all of us agree on the need for LOVE, or the need for recognizing or honoring that LOVE. What about loving ourselves? What do you expect out of LOVE? What does it take for someone to PROVE they LOVE you?
Tonight is your chance to voice your thoughts and how you think this emotion plays a part in your healing journey; reclaiming your sense of self; appreciation for the person you are and the life you have been given, good and bad.
This is an early broadcast and will only take up one hour of your special evening. Wishing you a marvelous life filled with love everyday. Butterfly Dreams Talk Radio is a community outreach broadcast production of Butterfly Dreams Abuse Recovery.
