On tonight's episode of the Yanks Go Yard Radio Show, brought to you by KNODA.com, host and senior staff writer RIcky Keeler gives his takeaways from the Yankees' final series of the first half against the Boston Red Sox, including the team calling up Robert Refsnyder to play second base in the final two games of the series.
In the first segment of the show, beginning at 8:05 PM ET, Ricky will be joined by two Yankees' writers to help recap the first half of the season. His two guests will be Chris Carelli of SNY Yanks as well as Yankees Unscripted and Bryan Van Dusen of The Greedy Pinstripes. They will be discussing Alex Rodriguez, Mark Teixeira, the Ellsbury-Gardner combination, give their surprises and disappointments of the first half, and what to expect from the Yankees in the second half of the season.
Then, at 9 PM ET, Ricky will be joined by Robert Pimpsner, the founder of Pinstriped Prospects to give a midseason update on the top prospects in the Yankees' system, including Luis Severino, Aaron Judge, and Greg Bird. Plus, Ricky and Robert will give their take on which players have stood out at each affiliate in the Yankees' farm system, from Scranton to Staten Island.
