Oct 4th Priscilla Costello; Return to the Sixties?

Priscilla Costello, M.A., Dipl. CAAE, is a counseling astrologer, teacher, and writer with a professional astrological practice spanning over 30 years. Her approach blends psychological, spiritual, and practical perspectives to facilitate greater awareness of lifelong and current archetypal patterns. She has spoken widely throughout the U.S. and Canada, for many groups and at numerous conferences sponsored by NCGR, the AFA, SOTA, and all the recent UACs . Currently serving on the Advisory Board of NCGR, she was formerly its Director of Chapter Affairs and Development. She has also been instrumental in the organization of Canadian astrology, both locally and nationally. A lifelong interest in psychology and spirituality is reflected in her multiple award-winning MA thesis on religious philosophy and Jungian psychology, and in her founding of "The New Alexandria", a center for religious, spiritual, and esoteric studies. She is the author of "The Weiser Concise Guide to Practical Astrology" (2008), a unique introduction to the basics of astrology that links it to psychology, religion, and esoteric wisdom. In a recent review in "Mountain Astrologer" magazine (Dec/Jan 09), Mary Plumb describes it as a wonderful book, elegantly written, and "a fine introduction to serious astrology and a lovely book for astrologers at all levels of experience to enjoy." The magazine also printed a section from "the planets" in the June/July 09 issue.
