JJ DiGeronimo, president of Tech Savvy Women & Purposeful Woman, began her career designing datacenter infrastructures for Fortune 500 companies after graduating with a computer information systems degree in 1995. Now recognized as a thought-leader for Women especially those in STEM careers, JJ is invited into organizations to consult on diversity strategies with senior executives, with an acute focus on retention and attraction to increase innovation and bottom-line results. Prior to her recent work, JJ had a 20-year career in high tech, advancing into leadership positions within Silicon Valley-based technology companies including VMware and Inktomi.  She regularly leverages relationships with leadership in numerous companies, along with hundreds of hours of research, to provide Women in Tech a relevant perspective and proven strategies for career advancement.  JJ is featured in many publications and TV shows including Forbes, Fox Business, ITWorld, Career-Intelligence and Rescue a CEO. She keynotes at leadership events for women and STEM events for students, which includes events at Amazon, Ingram Micro, Sears Holding Company, Clemson University, NASA , Symantec, VMware, Grace Hooper, KeyBank, and Cisco.
