Remember your first time? We do! Join us as we interview authors just beginning their literary journey into publication. It doesn't matter how their book is published; self-publication, independent, or traditional publishing house, the world agrees being a published author is a big step. We want to celebrate and spotlight these authors whose words were brought into the hands of readers. Listen in as they talk about their new experiences. Being published is an intoxicating dream…a dream these authors are living Join us in jubilation for those who are . . . Freshly Booked!

This week’s Featured Author is . . . Jesalyn Mae Harper was born and raised in California, particularly the Sierra Nevada foothills. Apart from growing up a mountain girl with camping, quad riding, and horseback riding, she was privileged to travel. Having been to Sweden, Jamaica, Mexico, Hawaii, Maine, and so on, Jesalyn was exposed to many different cultures. All of which have fed her fascination with ancient mythologies and religions. It was just after the birth of her son Jared that she jumped into writing her first book, Fabled Desires. When not working on her novels, children’s books and short stories, she can be found outside gardening, still camping, hiking, and horseback riding. Jesalyn still lives in California with her two year old son Jared.
