Guest Yvette Heyliger on Gun Violence and Community Action: R&MW

Our special guest, Yvette Heyliger, artist and activist, will discuss gun violence prevention through her work as a community organizer with Organizing for Action. Ms. Heyliger is a playwright and a producing artist.  Some may recall her as “Aunt Sarah’ from the NBC hit Cosby Show.  Since that time she has written many plays including, Bridge to Baraka: The Pioneers of the Modern Gun Rights Movement which was published in the book 24 Gun Control Plays and has been performed in Gun Control Theatre Actions in the US and Sydney, Australia.
