How to Make Money With Internet Radio and Podcasting

Carl and I decided to create our own Internet radio show because we felt it would be a good way to build organic search ranking. Our reasoning was based on three specific principles. First and foremost, quality content is king for search engine ranking. Second, it had to include timely, unique, useful and actionable content to post to our blog and social nets. This would distinguish us from our competition. And third, doing a regular weekly Internet radio would require weekly research. This would force us to stay current in our industry, which would help us produce a quality content-driven show.

In the beginning, we knew we didn't have any show sponsors. We knew it would take time to build an audiance, content for our efforts to have an effect on our Google Search position.  Fast forward to today and we have a strong Page One organic position in the top three search engines. Our blog talk radio show is a hit with our clients and the show's blog receives more than 5,000 page views a month. To top it off, all are now monetized.
