Colleen Gay has professional experience as a small business manager, educator and counselor. She came of age in the early 1970's amid expanding civil rights for racial and ethnic minorities and women. She has a passion for helping people achieve their goals and overcome obstacles to take their full and vital place in the human family. In 2004 Colleen was introduced to Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and felt drawn to this acupressure technique based on the ancient practice of acupuncture. EFT utilizes tapping on specific points on the body with the fingers to stimulate the meridians that carry energy throughout the body. Based on the belief that "All negative emotions are caused by a disruption in the body's energy system", tapping serves to calm and release energy disruptions. Colleen found that EFT produced immediate, noticeable results and has worked since 2004 to expand the knowledge and use of tapping to clients worldwide. One of the exciting dimensions of EFT is that its founder, Gary Craig, has provided a free Get Started package and three times weekly newsletter at www.emofree.com. Anyone can learn this energy tool easily and inexpensively and apply it to his or her own issues. One of EFT's slogans is "Try it on everything!" By reading the newsletters at www.emofree.com you can share the experiences of people all over the world as they find ways to apply EFT in their own lives. Tapping is an excellent way to build an energetic connection among us as members of the human family. Colleen has her own website at www.stressfreedomcoach.com. You can also email her at colleeneftcoach @aol.com. Since EFT can be easily learned and applied over the phone, Colleen welcomes clients from around the globe.
