Rosecrans writes for a variety of magazines and reviews books for NPR’s All Things Considered. His Kindle article, "Our French Connection," was selected as a notable essay for Best American Essays 2013. He has taught creative writing at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, Duke University’s Center for Documentary Studies, and Miami Dade College’s Miami Writers Institute, where he was an author-in-residence in 2013. He is a founding editor of the online magazine The Morning News."
