Kathleen Roulin and Tricia Woodson on BlogTalkRadio

My guests on Word of Mom Thursday December 1st are Kathleen Roulin, founder of Lotus Bèbè and Tricia Woodson, founder of Baby Fanatic. 

Kathleen was inspired to create a line of eco-luxury blankets after her son was born. As a first time mom from Southern California, trying to find items that were both eco-friendly and stylish was difficult since what was available on the market was very limited. Other friends agreed there was not much on the market in terms of eco-friendly products, blankets etc. made of such new textiles as bamboo and soybean. So after much research and support from family and friends Lotus Bèbè was started, offering those sustainable luxury items for babies.  With a background in various industries from accounting to marketing,  helped to put all of the pieces to work in Lotus Bèbè. We want to focus on offering products that are eco-friendly, fairly traded, high quality and cherished for many years.

In 2003, Baby Fanatic Founder and President, Tricia Woodson, couldn’t find a suitable baby gift for another crazed Mom fan and went into action. She fulfilled the need for a complete product offering of licensed baby products in just under a year. Woodson developed a product line which embodied the passion and the excitement of the sports enthusiast, including her three young Virginia Tech Hokie fans. Her children could spell H-O-K-I-E-S before they could spell their own names.
