Tonia is a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant who received numerous military decorations and awards to include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medals, Air Force Commendation Medals, Air Staff Senior NCO of the Year, and NCO of the Year.

        Tonia is the author of Life Beyond Adversities…Memoirs of a Military Chief.  She is also the President of Encouraging Times Corporation, a Director and Board Member in the Lakeland North Rotary Club, Women of Power Charter Member, Girl’s Inc. Ambassador, and a Patriotic Woman of Wisdom.

 She was recently nominated for the Extraordinary Woman of God for the Tampa Bay area, selected as the New Member Rotarian of the Year, and was selected as one of the winners of the 2014, “50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading “.

     Tonia and her husband, Charles, a Funeral Director and co-owner of Oldham Funeral Home, have four grown children, reside in Lakeland, FL. and attend Pilgrim Rest Free Will Baptist Church in Lakeland.
