Our guest today is Debby "Flash" Stephenson. Debby is the Founder/Director of 'Courageous Kidz - A Safe Haven For Kids With Cancer And Their Families....Giving The Magic Of Hope', is located in Charleston, South Carolina it is a local non-profit organization which is operated by funds raised through special events, individuals, community, and civic groups, and a few corporations.

In 2005 Debby's husband went through a life-saving Proton Radiation treatments for Cancer, and while she was nursing him back to health, she was forever changed and knew she had to do something for the kids with Cancer, and from her perserverance "Courageous Kidz - A Safe Haven For Kids With Cancer and Their Families....Giving The Magic of Hope" was created.

Courageous Kidz, Inc. is a non-medical organization that focuses on families devastated by childhood Cancer. "The child has the disease, the family has the cancer". The challenges that present themselves to these families is never-ending with long-term side effects, financial havoc, insurance conflicts, marriage conflicts, the list is endless. The goal of Courageous Kidz, Inc. is to "pick up the pieces", when life goes arwy, restore normalcy and give the Magic of Hope!  They ARE a SAFE HAVEN for Kids with Cancer!
