WHEELZ UP RADIO WEEKEND WRAP UP SHOW

Wheelz-Up Radio presented by Sassy Racing Engines returns on Wednesday Night at 7:30pm. This week join host Chris Barnes, Mike Carr and Bob & Lew better known as the "Wagon Boyz" as they talk the latest news and notes from the world of drag racing. On this week's show the gang will talk with NHRA Nitro Funny Car Driver John Hale. John, is the driver of Big Jim Dunn's Nitro operation on the NHRA Tour and also likes to compete on the Nostalgia Funny Car tour with his "One Bad Texan" Nitro Car. The gang will talk with John about what attracted him to driving a funny car along with how he got started in the world of Drag Racing on Wednesday Night.

Wednesday's Nights guest comes to us from the great state of Texas. John Hale is a relatively new name in the world of NHRA Funny Car racing but, that doesn't mean that driving the Oberto Beef Jerky/Jim Dunn Racing Dodge Charger is his first time flirting with Nitro. John is a well-known Nostalgia funny car driver with wins in NHRA, DRO and IHRA competition Hale, has worked his way up through the ranks of Drag Racing as his driving career began at age 22 driving an e.t. bracket roadster . He quickly picked up the need for speed eventually building his own blown rear engine dragster to get more time in the seat. eventually making his way to the pro-ranks with Cruz Pedregon where they recorded a win at the Matco Supernationals in Englishtown, NJ.
