Shawna , Renee Each Have A Story To Tell with Kevin Annett

Shawna Green is a Cree woman from the Samson Cree Nation in Alberta. Her parents were Residential School survivors  and she recently attended a TRC  Conference sponsored by Shaw Cable Company and BC Hydro in Victoria. Shawna will be sharing her experiences and observations at this conference and how the TRC manipulates and displays cheap props to fool the victims. On Friday of this week she has organized a walk to show support for  the Cowichan Nation's call of emergency over so many suicides and will be talking about how that went as well.

 Our second guest, Renee Many Eagles, a Coast  Salish/Saulteau woman from British Columbia will be telling us a true horror story about her childhood as a victim of the Residential Schools and Military Hospitals who performed medical experiments on Native children. Two of those were the NDMC,National Defense Medical Center in Ottawa and DCIEM, Defence and Civil Institute of Environmental Medicine in Toronto. The worst part of all this is her  father was a military scientist who condoned his own daughter being experimented on at these facilities. Once grown Renee became  a  Clinical Therapist for 33 years focusing solely on helping  Residential School Survivors.
