Joanne Shenandoah, Grammy Award winning musician and her husband Doug George Kanentiio, Award winning journalist, both Iroquois, will share their experiences and knowledge surrounding the affect of religion and boarding schools as it pertains to the Native community. Joanne will discuss the healing aspects of nurturing our youth and creative gifts as a way to bring about healing. Doug will talk of his experience in the Mohawk Institute and how it has affected the lives of those who attended. Also they will discuss aspects of dealing with injustice through traditional methods and justice systems built within Iroquois law. Kevin will then be updating us on his latest news and our 3rd guest, Gerry O'Donovan from Ireland will talk about an important up coming meeting with Arch Bishop Dermot Martin
