Police Sergeant Eric Lawrence's life is devoted to service....to the citizens of Boca Raton, Florida; to his family; and most importantly to the Almighty.

 

He is also an expert in physical fitness, martial arts, and self-defense.

 

Join Dr. Jeff and Chaim for this week's program, "To Serve & To Protect", as we talk about family, work, health, and faith with Sgt. Eric Lawrence, a man of great integrity in all aspects of his life. We are sure you will be inspired!

 

Sgt. Eric Lawrence's Bio:

Sgt. Lawrence became a police officer in Boca Raton, Flordia in 1989, and served as a road patrol officer, a Public Information Officer, a Youth Services Officer instructing the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program, the Gang Resistance Education and Training program, and the CHOICES after school program for the youth.

 

In October of 2000, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, and served as a Road Patrol supervisor until 2004, at which time he was transferred to the Family Services Bureau to lead the agencies’ victim advocates, and the youth program instructors, and then returned to Road Patrol in 2008.

 

Sgt. Lawrence has police instructor certifications is the following: • Expandable baton • Defensive Tactics • Firearms • Taser • Chemical Weapons / pepper spray

 

At 13 Sgt. Lawrence gave his life to the Messiah, but it was in 1994 that his relationship truly began to grow.

 

Sgt. Lawrence has been married since 1999 to his beautiful wife Angie, and they have two sons Daniel and Steven and two daughters, Kathryn and Julianne. Sgt. Lawrence and his family live in Ft. Lauderdale where they attend church at Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale.
