ALEXANDRA BEDARD My name is Alexandra Bedard I'm a 24 year old single mother. To my firecracker of a son Damian, who's 3 and a half. On July 12, 2011 i was in a motorcycle accident leaving me as a T-12 SCI. About 6 months later my husband left us. But I can't let that stop me. I have to stay positive and motivated for my son. He's my biggest motivation, support and fan. I mean what do you say to your child when they ask "Mommy your gonna walk like me again! Right?" You say yes and give it all you have to keep pushing forward. Like my fundraising slogan "Fighting Back" That's what ill keep doing just as I did when I was a Jr. fire fighter for York Beach.
