Welcome to Blog Talk Radio and the Voice of Change. Today's Living Principle is entitled: Mindful Consumption   & Mindful Compassion.  As we speak about being mindful of consuming, we also have to have compassion for ourselves and wherever we are on the journey to our wholeness.  I know that with the holidays here, and all that we've been going through on the planet, many are having challenging times.  Many have experienced great loss over the last several months, and taking time to acknowledge this is so important for our spirits to recover and be able to move forward. And on the other side of this, there is much newness arising, much synchronistic happenings, so these too need to be acknowledged. It's sometimes difficult to believe both polarities are taking place at the same time.  As we come to the end of the year and almost the beginning of 2021, the topic of "Mindful Consumption" is very appropriate.  In preparing for a new beginning, is there anything you are reflecting upon...as something you wish to shift with your pattern of consumption.  As we thrive to keep our bodies free from pollution, we can reflect on what it is we take into our body that is not pure.  Some things we'll reflect on today are: food, alcohol, television programming, magazine, books, films, etc.  Thich Nhat Hanh brings into this conversation many interesting points which I'll share with you today.  Join us.  And you are also welcome to call in and join the conversation.
