By Invitation Only- Is Private Networking More Beneficial?

We're always hearing about how we need to network. All of the experts say that without a solid network, your net WORTH suffers. But even with all of the mixers, events and networking groups (including social networking) some people walk away still feeling unfulfilled. 

They say you have to pay to play and sometimes to get exactly what you need in networking, it is necessary to seek out a high level, no nonsense private networking group that has a definitive purpose and members who come to get things done. You can get tings done with free or regular networking groups, but you get better results with private groups. Money alone, though, won't get you into a private network.
