B. Fly Show Welcomes CEO of Unique Blend Models Andrene Williams

Meet Our Guest: Andrene Williams was born in Jamaica, West Indies and raised in Queens, N.Y. With her innate

personality and abilities to care for others, she began her career in Health Care. As her service to the

community, in 2009, Ms. Williams founded and is the CEO of a non-profit youth organization called

Ladydoves Self Enrichment Youth Organization. In this organization she helps build self-esteem and

empowers young ladies in her community to reach their full potential as well as encourages self-love

and awareness. 

Ms. Williams also had a passion for the world of fashion and beauty. Especially, being a plus sized

woman wanting to see more representation of the plus world on runways and in magazines, Ms.

Williams became a Plus-Size Model herself. Right away she saw how poorly models were treated

and plus models even more. Being who she naturally is, she used her experience as a model to

inspire, uplift and empower women to have confidence and self appreciation. She also began to seek

positions behind the scenes where she knew she could begin and truly make a difference in the way

plus models and all size models should be treated and represented.

In 2012, Ms. Williams created Unique Blend Models (UBM,) where she is the CEO and Model

Coordinator. This group was created to empower models of all shapes, colors, sizes and enhance

self-esteem while promoting that we are unique and when we come together, we blend beautifully.

Of course, it doesn't stop there. In 2013, she became the Director of the Plus-Size Model Division of

Fashion Avenue News Magazine, an International, Luxury Style Fashion Magazine.
