Jennifer Tosch, moved to the Netherlands in 2012 to study abroad and trace her roots affter hearing stories from her mother who grew up in the Netherlands in the late 1940s, after WWII. What she learned about her own history and because of the lack of information and knowledge about the black presence in the Netherlands, especially during slavery, or tours with links to the African Diaspora. Jennifer started the Black Heritage Amsterdam Tours. The tour informs, inspires and educates, everyone who is interested in learning more about the contributions of the African Diaspora to Dutch society from the 16th century to the present.
