RECORDING ARTIST BERNICE CELESTE

Join us tonight as Bernice Celeste, an 19 year old singer/songwriter from Southern California stops by Versatile Radio. 

 At the age of 10, her family relocated to states like New Mexico, Texas and South Carolina. Along the way, her passion for music grew immensely that the time came when asking her parents to relocate back to Southern California to pursue her dream. They believed in her and made the move.

She is an independent artist and is progressing to be one of the next big time artist. The songs that she writes are about life experiences or events she has witnessed. She started singing at the age of 7 and throughout her school years she was involved in choir. At 14, she began playing guitar, self taught and by ear, then at a later time she took guitar lessons which progressed into writing her own music.

Her unique sound is a mixture of Pop/Acoustic/R&B. Growing up her influences were given by her parents and grandparents who listened to R&B, Oldies, Motown, Classic Rock, Hip-Hop and 80's Pop. During her middle school and high school years she was also being influenced by Alternative, Folk and Top 40's music. 

Bernice has been performing around Southern California in hopes of inspiring people with her lyrics and music. Her distinct sound and unique voice has been captured by many ears and she hopes to spread her music around the world.
