Hi Everyone, Today's Topic is for "Pet Lovers" "All About Your Family Pet" My special guest is Dr. Roger Welton. Dr. Roger Welton is a practicing veterinarian, published author and expert in his field. He offers his advice, pertinent veterinary information and news to the general pet owning public through his YouTube and BlogTalkRadio shows. Dr. Welton is a reporter for the Veterinary News Network (VNN), enabling him to offer the most up to date, interesting, and cutting edge pet related information. Dr. Welton is happily married with 2 small children, and in his spare time competes in triathlons and coaches youth league lacrosse. Dr. Welton will be discussing aspects of veterinary medicine. Highlighting some of the unique challenges veterinary medicine present in contract to human medicine. He would also briefly discuss a point that a lot a people are not aware of, in that it is more difficult to become a veterinarian than an MD, since there are only ¼ the number of schools, making it 4 times as competitive to get accepted. They also have to master 7 species, and an MD has to master one. Lastly, discussing Dr. Welton's youtube and blogtalkradio shows, what they offer and how they differ in the listener/viewer experience. Dr. Welton will be taking all your "PET Questions" My phone lines and Live Chat will be open 10 minutes before the show begins. Dr. Welton has offered as a gift to the first couple of lucky callers his published autographed book from 2005 "Canine and Feline 101". If your a pet lover don't miss this great oppurtunity to speak with an outstanding expert.
