LA rapper Johnny Mo talks new video "5 Days"

After taking a hiatus to get his college dregree, Johnny Mo is back in the stu cooking up some heat. He just recently released his short EP titled The Comedown. Which featured tracks 5 Days, and Dash with up and coming artist Suigeneris. His sound truly defines the life of a modern day drug dealer. After his neighborhood got hit with gentrification Johnny Mo left his hometown of East Hollywood in Central Los Angeles and headed to the beautiful valley. He now lives in the Van Nuys neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley and records at the newly famed Fam First Studios. Currently he is working on mixtapes with different producers, including AyeWey. He wants to flood the streets with music in 2019, and drop TakecareLANDO2.

The rapper describes himself as being a go-getter. He lives on his own terms and vows to fight the power everyday. “I did this shit on my own. My own dollar, my own effort. I’m at a point where it’s no turning back. I know this shit bout to pay off for me and my family. And all my homies who really believed in me. I’m starting to feel like this shit written in the stars”.
