"Up Close & Personal" with Saxophonist "Danny Kusz"

O.k. so I discovered this latest recording from Minneapolis saxophonist Danny Kusz (aka Dan Kusz) a bit late as this smoker was released back in March of this year. Still, as I’m sure many will agree, we smooth and contemporary jazzers can never get enough of good, solid, feel-it-to-your-toes funky jams in the contemporary jazz vein, and I would never have allowed this one to not make its way onto our Reviews page.
