It is clear that women have so much work to do to protect and advance our full freedoms and rights in every area of our lives including the wide range of economic, legal, safety and educational issues that affect women in a very special way. UNITE Women was launched on Facebook February 11, 2012 with a call for a march and rally on April 28, 2012 in every state to say “Enough is enough.” We’re on the cutting edge of a new, intergenerational wave of the women’s movement; we have a vision of a better world for ourselves, our children and grandchildren. To this end, state members in 50 states are uniting to act, mobilize, educate, get out the vote at the grassroots community level where life is lived.
