We're back ! Join us this Sunday at 8 pm CST / 9 pm EST ! The first hour of the show is a look into the independent film " For Out Of The Heart ". Filming locations include the " homicide unit " at the Peoria Police Dept., using Captains, Sergeants and officers as extras.....even Mayor Ardis will make a cameo appearance. The film crew also visited Springdale Cemetary, St. Bernard's Parish & Rectory, the Peoria County Morgue and many other locations, using local talent. The film is set to be released within the year. Joining the show at 8:15 pm will be " For Out Of The Heart " actor, musician, Peoria native and all around cool mothertrucker, Derek Childs. We'll chat with Derek not only about the film but also about his band, Mania's Arms. We'll spin a track or two from their newly finished EP as well. As the train wreck rolls along, joining the show at 8:40 pm will be Director & Producer of " For Out Of The Heart ", Michael Mayo. We're excited to hear all about the film and why they chose Peoria as the film location. Who knows where the conversation may go ! In the second hour, at 9:15 pm , we'll catch up with photojournalist and Peoria native Marty Wombacher. From 1989 to 1993 Marty edited and published the " People of Peoria " magazine which gained nationwide recognition. In 1993 he moved to New York and spent nearly twenty years writing for the New York Post, The New York Daily News and many other publications. In 2012 Marty returned home to Peoria and is busy with his current project " Meanwhile Back In Peoria ".
