How many of you have heard the old wives' tale: Starve a cold, feed a fever?" The myth was that if someone got a cold, they were not to eat so as to force the cold out of the body by starving it (giving the cold germs nothing to feed on); and then there is the part about feeding a fever. Neither of them has ever made any sense to me.

However, I'd like to change the words a little bit to this:
Starve the FLESH and Feed Your Spirit man! Yes! Many of us feed our flesh what it wants: ungodly television programs: ungodly relationships; ungodly things like drinking and getting high or even lying, backbiting, fornicating and/or adultery. We should be denying our flesh anything that is going to cause it to outgrow our spirit man. So, with that being said, it only rings true that we should feed our spirit man with the things which pertain unto Godliness: Studying the Word of GOD; Praying; Fasting; being around godly people; looking at and listening to Godly music, television, and movies.
We do know that GOD is not a miser who doesn't want HIS children to have fun, but HE does not want us to use our lberty as a reason to live ungodly lives.

Please call in and speak to the host about this very important topic.
