Do you need redemption from the curse of sin?

The effects of the curse of sin since Adam are evident around us everyday- sickness, disease, poverty, lack, fear, death, hatred, famine, natural disasters, accidents.... 

God has sent His only Son to redeem us from the curse of sin. However, in order to be redeemed, you must be related to Him, by blood, the Blood of Jesus Christ. Do you need redemption from the curse?
