Madeleine McCann + Amanda Knox's families hired PR firms who harassed journalists and bloggers along with their families.   PR firms bullied, threatened and harassed anyone who published articles or other media which did not follow the murder defendants narrative.  

These paid PR trolls with their wealthy employers had the time, energy and resources to access to personal data of crime writers and their families.  PR trolls obtained financial and other personal information of private citizens, which they distributed publicly on social media and used to taunt their victims.  PR trolls also attempted to get writers fired from their jobs by spreading falsehoods about them to their employers.
