THE HBO DOCUMENTARY MOMMY DEAD AND DEAREST WILL DEBUT ON MAY 15TH

On June 15, 2015, Dee Dee Blancharde was found murdered in her Springfield, Mo. home, and her wheelchair-bound daughter, Gypsy Rose Blanchard, was reported missing. But after Gypsy was tracked to Wisconsin and implicated in the murder, what started out as a grisly tale of matricide morphed into a bizarre story of deception and abuse.

Websleuths members will remember the beyond bizarre story of Dee Dee Blancharde and her very "sick" daughter Gypsy Rose. 

We followed the search for Gypsy after her mother Dee Dee was found murdered and a chilling Facebook post said "The bitch is dead"

Gypsy Rose had been sick all her life or so her mother Dee Dee said. In reality, Dee Dee was playing a sick and twisted game using her daughter to get attention. Gypsy was never sick nor was she a teenager. Gypsy was a grown woman who met a man on the Internet and escaped her life of abuse.
