Roger Ortega's debut album "RnBPoPWrytr" was released in April 2012. It reached number #62 on the iTunes R&B/Soul charts. Since then he's released his first music video for his song "I Can't Wait" and a holiday single entitled "My First Christmas With You".  The remix for "I Can't Wait" produced by The Platoons, reached the #1 spot on Back To The Beat's EDM Countdown.  

RO's fan base is worldwide with fans in the U.S., Canada, Australia and the U.K. to name a few. He affectionately refers to his fans as "RoRo's". With a loyal following, who not only line up for meet and greets but constantly push and promote him, the sky is the limit.

As a child, Roger started to realize his dream of singing/songwriting, when he started a pop group. This group took Roger from the midwest city of Topeka, KS to the bright lights of New York City. 

Not only does Roger have a true talent for commanding the stage, but he was blessed with a gift for songwriting. With a knack for catchy hooks, memorable melodies and storytelling lyrics, his songs are more than just that-they are vivid pictures of moments in time.

With his ability to elicit an emotion in just a few words or with a slight melodic implication, he not only captures the listeners imaginations, but their hearts and souls. "Music is the soundtrack to our lives." he says, so he means every word that he writes. 

The inspiration for Roger's material extends beyond his real life experiences and into those of characters that he becomes when writing a song.
