Thinking Allowed - Give Us A King

God's heart was for all people to know and experience His love. After centuries of delay he finally had a people in a place who could represent Him to other nations. It was a plan that had been shown to work. The life of Naomi so shone of God that Ruth from the land of curse was brought to the land of blessing.

But instead of pressing into their call to be different, out goes the cry "We want to be like others - give us a king"

Tonight we look at holiness in a whole new light.  We look at Saul and David - Ruth's great-grandson and how the kingdom becomes established.

And we see how God allows us the consequence of our choices.
