Negropean is a person who either deliberately, or unconsciously betrays their own group by participating in its oppression (claiming ignorance does not prevent one from being a Negropean. 

Toward the end of the nineteenth century, a man named Frank Cherry claimed to receive a vision through which God told him to present the message that African Americans are the true descendants of the biblical Hebrews. Another significant figure arose during this same time: William S. Crowdy. It was during this era of lynching and the rise of Jim Crow that the prophet William Crowdy claimed to receive a revelation that African Americans were the descendants of the ancient Israelites.

Matthew, Wentworth Arthur (23 June 1892-3 Dec. 1973),1919 enough people were drawn to his evolving theology of Judaism and black nationalism that he was able to found “The Commandments Keepers Church of the living God The pillar and ground of the truth And the faith of Jesus Christ.” Matthew’s association with Rabbi ARNOLD FORD. Ford was a luminary in the Universal Negro Improvement Association, a black nationalist organization led by MARCUS GARVEY. Rabbi Ford offered Hebrew lessons and religious instruction to a number of laypeople and clergy in the Harlem area. Ford worked with both Matthew’s Commandments Keepers Congregation and the Moorish Zionist Congregation led by Mordecai Herman in the 1920s. As an adjunct to his congregation, Matthew created a Masonic lodge called The Royal Order of Aethiopian Hebrews the Sons and Daughters of Culture. In 1922,ROBERT Rogers attended a UNIA meeting in Newark and was very impressed with Garvey's discourse, to the point of declaring him an "apostle of God."
