Book Club Intro and 1st Month's Book. Stolen Legacy: The Greeks were not the authors of Greek Philosophy, but the people of North Africa, commonly called the Egyptians were By: George G.M. James “The term Greek philosophy, to begin with is a misnomer, for there is no such philosophy in existence.” This first sentence of the introduction to George G.M. James’ Stolen Legacy is the mission statement, of sorts, for the book. Through this work, James attempts to prove beyond a doubt that the entirety of Greek philosophy is in actuality stolen/plagiarized Egyptian knowledge. The major players of the text are some of the most well-known figures in history including Alexander of Macedonia, Aristotle, Socrates, Plato, Pythagoras, and the Roman Emperor Justinian. Stolen Legacy details how these men were catalysts in the stripping of Kemet/Egypt of its knowledge of mathematics, sciences, spirituality, magic, etc and passing off the concepts as their own. James’ main aim is not to attack the Greek or Western cultures but to dispel the myth that African Continent has made no contribution to human civilization. This myth or should I say lie has been used as a basis for the racial prejudice which has affected millions. "By The Time the World Woke Up To Realize Its Greatness Africa Had All Ready Created All The Greatest Things..." Dr. Alex Darkwah author of The Africans Who Wrote the Bible
