The good news about people is that we are highly predictable creatures. Our behavior is quite consistent with our long-standing personality styles. If we pay more attention to what people do than what people say, despite our own hopes, dreams, or personal needs, then the true essence of who people are will come shining right through any attempts to deceive. The problem with seeing people for who they are comes in when we (1) decide to ignore what we see about people and expect something different, (2) decide we can change someone else, or (3) decide that the other person would change IF they loved us! Join The Ugly Facts With Dr. Jenn as we consider the idea that people are who they are – for better and for worse!
