Here is a bit about my Co-Host: Denise is the Wellness Director at the Garden Way Retirement Community. Denise has worked as a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine specializing in rehabilitative exercise, myofascial release and a fusion of AIS and PNF stretching techniques. While living in Jackson Hole, WY, Denise dramatically improved the health of hundreds of town residents through her design and implementation of a town wellness program. After her success in Jackson Denise founded a nationwide volunteer program that is currently working with a national geographic film crew to highlight powerful community involvement throughout the country. In addition to wellness Denise has spent the last five summers working as a rock climbing and backpacking instructor for Outward Bound Wilderness. One of the qualities that makes her so successful as a wellness director is her understanding that wellness is much more than simply physical wellbeing. Discovering wellness is finding a healthy balance of those individual ingredients that both make us feel alive and give us a sense of purpose!
