I have been so lucky to be a student of Dr. Martha Beck.  Dr. Beck teaches a technique that can be used to handle literally any issue.  It's called the 3 Bs:  Bag It, Barter It or Better It. 

Needless to say, our families often have issues that come up and I know that I often did not know what to do.  What was my place?  What is the right thing?
