Barbara Desmarais is a parenting and life coach in Vancouver, Canada.  She has worked with parents for close to 25 years and is the mother to four, young adult children, including twin step-sons who are both deaf.  She is frequently quoted in Canada’s leading parenting magazine “Today’s Parent”.  She coaches parents privately, mostly over the telephone and is a speaker on topics related to parenting.
