William Douglas Little began his career as a radio personality in 1990. After 8-years as a late night, then morning-drive radio personality, he moved on an opportunity to co-found Unique Powersports – a now National award-winning Motorcycle Dealership in central Missouri. In 2007, Little also became President of Wilkes Group, a large Printing and Direct Mail company in St. Louis, Missouri and helped to structure the purchase of a 160,000 square-foot promotional packaging plant in Perryville, Missouri to which he is a co-owner. This plant – added to the Wilkes Group umbrella – boasts many rare packaging opportunities for companies looking for solutions in fulfillment and packaging of direct mail, promotional products, product order management and food packaging. Little has also written for Motorcycle Product News Magazine – one of the leading and best-read magazines serving the motorcycle industry for three years where he became a featured columnist in mid-2007. Through his wildly popular, humorous MPN column, came the opportunity to publish his debut book, “MEXICAN BOWL FISHING: And Other Tales of Life” released on July 1, 2008. The book falls under the Humor and Self-Improvement genre and is slated as General Audience. 26 chapters cover humorous tales of overcoming failures , accidents and misfortune in Little’s real-world, conversational writing style. Four of his most popular columns including “Bury the Cat Slowly”, “A Lesson In Cheap (Jessica)”, “Used Parts Salesman” and his debut column from 2007, “Practice What We Preach” are included as well as 22 other, hilarious chapters. With each chapter a separate, individual tale, this book is perfect for readers who are short on time as well as those who like their laughter to continue throughout a book. Many of the tales outline particularly embarrassing situations and the things that Little learned from each … mainly how to laugh with life. Lets take time to look at our lives and just laugh.
