Clarence Wooten is a serial tech entrepreneur who creates and builds startups. Presently, he is an Entrepreneur in Residence at X (formerly known as Google X), Alphabet's moonshot factory, where he works with talented teams to create radical new technologies to solve some of the world's hardest problems.

Clarence has a track record of success spanning back to 1999 when his debut Internet startup, ImageCafe.com, was acquired by Network Solutions/Verisign (Nasdaq: NSOL). ImageCafe became the default instant website platform used by millions of domain name purchasers. In 2010 Clarence moved to Silicon Valley from Maryland, his home state, and started a string of startups including Arrived, VentureFund.io, and Progressly, an enterprise SaaS startup that was acquired by Box (NYSE: BOX) in 2018.

In addition to Clarence's work at Google X, Clarence has focused on changing the complexion of tech through Revitalize Ventures, his venture studio, and PitchBLCK pitch competition, two organizations he co-founded to bring social equity to tech.  Clarence credits his career balance with being the proud father of two incredible college-age daughters, Jordan and Avery, who will always be the best two startups he ever created.

Clarence now resides in the Sand Section of Manhattan Beach.
