Beach Animal Rehabilitation Center (BARC)

Our guests this morning are Dr. Debra Voulgaris and Dr. Amy Kramer from Beach Animal Rehabilitation Center.

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a Masters of Arts degree from the City University of New York at Hunter College, Dr. Debra Voulgaris went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Amy Kramer received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education and Recreation from Whittier College.  She continued her education at Cerritos College where she graduated with honors from the Physical Therapist Assistant program in 1993. Dr. Amy went on to pursue her Masters in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences.

Beach Animal Rehabilitation Center (BARC) is a specialty clinic specifically aimed at helping pets live longer, healthier lives by treating them using a holistic approach combining both Eastern and Western medicine techniques.  Rehabilitation is performed by a combination of caring, qualified veterinarians and physical therapists specifically certified in this growing field.
