Mira Costa High School Cathedral Concert

We have a room full of guests this morning from Mira Coast High School to tell us about their upcoming concert.

Mira Costa Choirs will present their third annual Cathedral Concert featuring the 48-voice Advanced Women's Chorale and the 29-voice Vocal Ensemble under the direction of Michael Hayden and pianist Mark McCormick.

This year, they are excited to present in concert with them, the Kammerchor from the University of Cologne in Germany. With the special nature of having a European guest choir, Mira Costa is moving the concert venue, from the high school to St. Cross Episcopal Church in Hermosa Beach. The concert is scheduled for March 21 at 7:00 pm.

Our guests are Michael Hayden, choir teacher and director; Mark McCormick, choir accompanist and co-teacher; Kris Ornelas, student teacher; and Students Theo Barry, Emily Chase, Kayla Elson, Azaan Esmail, Isabel Gray and Kavita Sarathy.
