Mike Jacobs’ edgy brand of autobiographical comedy traces its roots to the north end of Hartford, Connecticut where he was voted “funniest kid” in his 6th grade class along with “best legs”, but don’t count on seeing them. His stories of “life” are hilarious, relevant to everyone, and true, his outlook on life, liberty and the pursuit of a plane ride without a screaming kid will leave you coming back for more.

His passion for comedy and laughter has had audiences in stitches from DC to San Francisco and every place in between. After studying philosophy in college and having no luck finding a job as a “philosopher” he quickly realized that he was like a cheap wine, he was getting bitter with age, but regardless of the age of his audiences they all unite in one chant, ”we love Mike!”

Feel the energy as Mike takes the stage and walks you up and down the “mean” streets of his very funny life. Mike has made his mark in various festivals and comedy contests including the prestigious Boston Comedy Festival, Carolines Comedy Final Four, a laugh-off of NYC’s TOP 64 comedians and the “Stand Up 360” NY Comedy Festival.

Mike is in his 3rd year of opening for the legendary Richard Lewis (Curb Your Enthusiasm) from Zanies in Chicago to Helium in Philly to Cobbs Comedy in San Francisco the shows have been the same, SOLD OUT! Mr Lewis recently said of Mike...”he is the greatest comic I have shared a stage with in 45 years," quite an endorsement from one of the top 50 comics of all time, but go see for yourself!

Mike recently taped his first CD, ”Bitter With Age…Rants from the Jack of all Tirades,” coming soon in 2016. More dates with Richard Lewis are coming but check Mike's schedule or better yet, come to one of his shows.
